In Noordhoek
Long beach: Noordhoek is primarily known for its magnificent white sandy beach, you can enjoy the sun, walk along the water and visit the shipwreck of the Kakapo.
The Silvermine nature reserve where you can enjoy the beautiful local fauna and flora by foot or mountainbike.
Shopping and strolling is possible in Noordhoek Farm Village, Imhoff farm or Long Beach Mall.
Cape Point Vineyards is a wine estate on the slopes of Noordhoek where numerous award winning wines are created.
Wining and dining: what will certainly be one of the highlights of your time in South Africa will be the food experience which you can discover in one of the many excellent restaurants.
In the Cape Peninsula
Cape Town: within 30 minutes you are in the centre of the ‘Mother City’. You can discover her with an open top double-decker bus which stops at all the main attractions such as Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront and Longstreet.
Cape of Good Hope is the most southern point of the Cape peninsula and lays in the middle of a nature reserve. There is also an ostrich farm well worth a visit.
Coastal villages such as Kalkbay, Fish Hoek, Kommetjie and Houtbay are well worth a visit.
Constantia with her winelands and Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens where you can enjoy open air concerts in summer.
Robben Island: an excursion to the famous island where Nelson Mandela was emprisonated for 18 years is a typical touristic attraction but certainly impression and memorable.

What to do
Horseback riding: Noordhoek beach is the only beach in the Cape peninsula where this is aloud. There are various possibilities to make a guided walk, also for beginners.
Surfing: the beach is popular surf spot because of the… waves.
Mountainbiking in the Silvermine nature reserve or on Chapman’s Peak.
Golf: there are 3 golf courses within 15 minutes drive (Clovelly, Westlake and Steenberg).
Fishing: in the area there are many possibilities for deep sea of fly fishing. There are also boattrips in search of whales and the great white shark.
Sailing: departure from Simonstown or Houtbay.
Diving can be done in the warm waters of False Bay.
Adventurous activities such as caving in Kalkbay, kloofing and croc paddling at Simon’s Town.
Visit a local market such as the Porters market (fun with kids) in Tokai and the more trendy Neighbourhoods Market in Woodstock, both on Saturday mornings. On Sundays there is a wonderful crafts market in Houtbay.
