Guesthouse African Queen is
situated in the beautiful Cape Town suburb of Noordhoek nestled at the foot
of Chapman’s Peak which is one of the most scenic coastal drives in the
world. It is perfect to discover the Cape Peninsula because of its central
location to the main attractions: Constantia with her wine estates and
Kirstenbosch botanical gardens, the Cape Point nature reserve, the penquin
kolony in Boulders and charming villages such as Houtbay, Kalkbay and
Simonstown are all within easy reach. And last but not least is the vibrant
centre of Cape Town with her world famous Table Mountain and V&A waterfront
only a 30 minutes drive away.
Between your
explorations of this beautiful area you can come to rest in the picturesque
rural Noordhoek. Here you can enjoy one of South Africa’s most magnificient
beaches! You can explore this 7 km white sandy beach on horseback, surf its
majestic waves and even spot some whales if you are lucky. There is also the
silvermine nature reserve, a wine-estate and delightful restaurants.
After a good night’s
sleep in one of our comfortable queen size beds, you will wake up in a
stylish yet cosy room. To start the day as an African Queen we serve you a
delicious and healthy organic breakfast consisting of South Africa’s finest
selection of fresh fruits, a wide variety of bread, yoghurt , bacon & eggs,
Belgian pain perdu and much more. In the evening you can watch the sunset
from our deck or swimming pool whilst sipping a sundowner with some of our
homemade fingerfoods! In short, an unforgettable holiday experience!
